Heavy rain causes F3 Masters delays

Qualifying for the Masters of Formula 3 at Zandvoort has been delayed after torrential rain hit the circuit early on Saturday morning. The day had been set to commence with the first of three Formula Ford races, but after just two laps, the first of which was run behind the safety car, the race was abandoned due to the weather. That prompted a two-hour delay with conditions too severe for any further running.
